This Privacy Policy explains how the Kona Finance Connector ("Service") handles information in connection with its use as an internal accounting integration tool.

1. Information Processed

The Service may process QuickBooks account identifiers, OAuth tokens, vendor records, bill-related information, and limited operational logs needed to authenticate with and interact with QuickBooks Online on behalf of authorized internal users.

2. Purpose of Processing

Information is processed solely to support Kona's internal accounting and integration workflows, including connecting to QuickBooks Online, retrieving accounting records, and facilitating approved internal business operations.

3. Credential Handling

The Service is designed so sensitive QuickBooks credentials and refresh tokens are retained on the server side rather than distributed to desktop applications whenever possible.

4. Sharing

Information handled by the Service is not intended for public distribution. Data may be shared only with the connected QuickBooks platform, authorized internal systems, service providers supporting the deployment, or when required by law.

5. Retention

Data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for internal operations, security, auditing, troubleshooting, or compliance needs.

6. Security

Reasonable administrative, technical, and operational measures are used to protect information processed by the Service, though no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Access and Corrections

Because this Service is intended for internal business use, requests to review, correct, or remove information should be directed to jon@konasurfco.com.

8. Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. Updated versions will be posted to this page with a revised effective date.
